Fees

1 % on every release, in the deal's asset. Nothing on refunds.

The rule

Arrha takes 1 % of every amount released to a payee. The fee is taken at the moment of release, inside settle, claim, acceptDelivery or reject, and sent to the Treasury in the same transaction.

EventFee
Release to payee1 % of the released amount
Bounty claim1 % of the claimed amount
Kill fee paid on reject1 % of the kill fee
Refund to payerNone
Cancel before acceptNone
Expiry of an unaccepted dealNone
Payee bond, returned or forfeitedNone
Creating a dealNone, only gas

A refunded deal costs the payer nothing beyond gas.

Fee in the deal's asset

The fee is paid in whatever the deal holds. A deal in native HYPE pays its fee in HYPE. A deal in an ERC-20 pays its fee in that ERC-20. The Deal calls depositFee on the Treasury, which records the payer deal, the asset, the amount and the time. Every record is backed by the funds it reports.

Example

A 1 000 HYPE KOL deal settles. The payee receives 990 HYPE. The Treasury receives 10 HYPE.

A Clock tranche of 600 HYPE is settled in three steps of 200 HYPE. Each step pays 2 HYPE to the Treasury, 6 HYPE in total. The fee follows the money as it is released.

Deals funded in $ARRHA

Deals whose asset is $ARRHA will pay no fee. $ARRHA is not launched. No contract address.

The Deal contract holds a placeholder constant ARRHA_TOKEN set to the zero address, which nobody can change. No deal qualifies today. A new factory and Deal version will ship with the real address after launch.

Where fees go

100 % of fees go to the Treasury. The Treasury has no owner and no withdraw function. Fees are earmarked for buyback-and-burn of $ARRHA once it exists. Until then the Treasury accrues HYPE, shown on the Burn page as "Awaiting $ARRHA launch". $ARRHA is not launched. No contract address.

Term registration

Registering a custom Term is free on testnet. On mainnet it will burn 1,000 $ARRHA. Not launched. No contract address.
