A to D

Bounty. A Deal with no named payee. The first address to call claim while the Term is true is paid.

Clone. A minimal proxy, EIP-1167, that delegates to the Deal implementation. Every Deal is its own clone with its own funds.

Deal. One immutable escrow contract between a payer and a payee, holding the earnest and the rules for releasing it.

Double arrha. The optional payee bond. Posted at accept, returned when the payee delivers, forfeited to the payer if the payee never does.

E to M

Earnest. The funds locked in a Deal. Also the public badge showing the HYPE locked for a token across deals.

Handshake mode. A mode for deliverables the chain cannot measure. The payee marks delivered, the payer has 72 h to accept or reject, silence means release.

Hold time. How long a market Term's threshold must stay met, across observations, before the Term reads true.

Kill fee. In Handshake mode, the share from 0 to 30 % of the earnest the payee keeps when the payer rejects.

Metric mode. A mode in which the Term decides. Release is automatic once it reads true.

O to S

Observation. A call that records a Term's bookkeeping: a hold timer, a volume baseline, a pause state. Made at creation, at every settle and claim, and by anyone through observe.

Payee. The address paid when the deal's condition is met. Zero for a bounty.

Payer. The address that creates the deal and locks the earnest. Refunded if the condition is not met.

Settle. The permissionless call that releases a tranche to the payee or refunds it to the payer, according to the deal's rules.

Subject token. The token a deal is about. The Terms read it, and the Earnest badge groups deals by it.

T to Z

Term. A condition contract that answers check(deal, data) with true or false.

Tranche. One slice of a deal's earnest with its own Term and share. A deal has 1 to 8 tranches.

Treasury. The contract that receives the 1 % fee. No owner, no withdraw. Earmarked for buyback-and-burn of $ARRHA. Not launched. No contract address.

TWAP. Time-weighted average price. Arrha's market cap Term prices on a 30 min TWAP so short spikes barely count.
